About
Hi, my name is Maurice Go.
I have 14 years professional experience in digital content creation,
game development, interactive media, real-time flight training simulations, promotional/film animations, and special FX.
Technology Architect at Infosys (based in San Francisco, CA).
Our ICETS (Infosys Center for Emerging Technology Solutions) team focuses on developing immersive XR (Virtual / Augmented / Mixed Reality) experiences for our clients, and conducts internal research and development projects primarily for enterprise use cases.
I get to play with all the latest XR tech, push the boundaries of what’s possible, and develop for the major headsets (Oculus Rift / Go, HTC VIVE, Gear VR, Hololens, AR Kit, AR Core, WebVR). I thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and wear many hats (UX/UI Designer / 3D Generalist / Game Designer / Audio Engineer). I am involved in every aspect of the agile development process creating rapid prototyping POCs (ideation, concept art, building 2D/3D assets, engine integration, QA testing, and client-facing demos).
Education:
M.S. in Interactive Entertainment from University of Central Florida - Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy
B.A. in Digital Arts and Science from the University of Florida

Music has always been an integral part of my life.
I am a self-taught guitarist, and have been playing since I was 12. I also play bass, ukulele, drums. and record / mix songs in my humble home-recording studio. Check out some of my covers here.
VR is great, but nothing beats the real thing!
When I’m not in front of a computer screen (or behind a VR headset), I love being outdoors, connecting with nature (whether it be cycling, surfing, snowboarding, skating, or hiking) and taking in the amazing scenery California has to offer. My wife and I just got annual U.S. National Parks Passes and already crossed 3 National Parks off our bucket list this year. (Yosemite, Pinnacles, Haleakala). I really enjoy making videos and documenting our adventures with our mirrorless A6000, GoPro, and drone.
